THE LAW OFFICE
OF LUIS BAEZ, PLLC

Meet Luis Baez
Whether you’re dealing with a criminal or commercial case, you need an attorney that will do more than simply go through the motions for you. You need a skilled, tested, and persuasive courtroom advocate. I started The Law Office of Luis Baez, PLLC to provide exactly that.
I have a long-track record of recognition for my oral and written advocacy. Below is a link to a longer biography if you’re interested in reading it. Today, I focus my practice on criminal defense and commercial litigation cases. I have been able to secure “not guilty” verdicts for criminal defendants and favorable outcomes for clients with civil and commercial litigation cases in federal and state courts across Texas. I’m also working on my MBA at Rice University to be able to provide effective counsel to executives and representation in white-collar, fraud, and securities-related alleged state and federal crimes.
Although I can never promise a specific outcome on a case, I can promise that I will do everything within my power to get the best outcome for my clients. I can also promise that we will work closely together on your case and I will never hand off your file to some other attorney or make you wade through assistants just to be able to get a hold of me. When calling your attorney starts to feel and sound like calling your doctor’s office, something is wrong.
I know how important your case is to you. As a prosecutor, I routinely saw defendants get railroaded because of their defense attorney and it made me sick. I could never do that to a client. I also know how important it is that you trust your attorney and have faith that they can effectively and persuasively advocate on your behalf every time you’re in court (whether that’s in writing, with a prosecutor, opposing counsel, judge, or jury).
My professional mission is to provide the kind of legal representation to the public that is above and beyond their expectations. At the end of our case, I want us both to feel like we left it all on the field. If you’re in a situation where you need an advocate—and not just an attorney—please contact me.
Best,
Luis Baez

I found Mr. Baez to be highly skilled in litigation and entirely principled when providing me with excellent legal representation; he ensured best interests & intentions were maintained. He never pressured me to accept a plea, even when very favorable terms were presented. He successfully fought, on my behalf, for nothing less than dismissal, or acquittal, of the charge I was facing... just as I wished!
